Flakiness Sieves

Flakiness Sieves are used to determine particle size shape or geometrical characteristics of aggregates. Aggregate particles are considered flaky when their thickness is less than 0.6 of their mean sieve size. Aggregate to be classified is separated into seven sieve fractions from 6.3 to 63 mm, and each fraction is examined separately. The dimensions of each sieve comply with the relevant International Standard and are manufactured from heavy gauge steel sheet, coated with electrostatic paint. The accuracy of the slot size is better than 0.1 mm.

The Flakiness Index Sieve Set (model AG 0101) consists of seven sieves made of heavy-gauge steel sheets coated with electrostatic paint for durability and security. The set includes seven individual flakiness sieves with the following technical specifications: AG 0101-1 has a slot size of 30×4.9 mm, weighs 1.5 kg, and measures 80×220×300 mm; AG 0101-2 has a slot size of 40×7.2 mm, weighs 1.6 kg, and measures 80×240×320 mm; AG 0101-3 has a slot size of 50×10.2 mm, weighs 1.9 kg, and measures 80×220×300 mm; AG 0101-4 has a slot size of 60×14.4 mm, weighs 2.0 kg, and measures 80×260×360 mm; AG 0101-5 has a slot size of 80×19.7 mm, weighs 2.2 kg, and measures 80×280×390 mm; AG 0101-6 has a slot size of 90×26.3 mm, weighs 2.6 kg, and measures 80×300×420 mm; AG 0101-7 has a slot size of 100×33.9 mm, weighs 2.9 kg, and measures 80×320×470 mm.
